Desiré Haverkamp

Nature is my greatest source of inspiration. I am also inspired by medical instruments. This was due to a visit in 1990 to the storage cellars of the medical instruments store of Adriaan van der Kuip in Utrecht.

The whole basement was full of medical instrument boxes,

glass tubes, milk glass containers and nose rings for bulls.

Wonderful material to make works of art.

From collages to mythical cars.

In 2014 I exhibited with my car: "Everything revolves around tulips" in De Keukenhof, about which a film was also made:
